Little Is Much When It’s in the Hands of Jesus

In this powerful Bible lesson from Mark 6, we explore one of the most well-known miracles of Jesus: the feeding of the 5,000. But this story is more than a familiar Sunday school account. It reveals something profound about the heart of Christ and the way God works through ordinary people.

When Jesus saw the crowd, the Bible says He was “moved with compassion” because they were like sheep without a shepherd. Instead of sending them away, He met their need in a miraculous way. With just five loaves and two fish, Jesus fed thousands and left baskets full of leftovers.

This message reminds us that God often works through what seems small or insufficient. When we place what we have into the hands of Christ, He multiplies it beyond anything we could imagine.
