Portraits Of Faith

The life of Moses teaches us that genuine faith requires choosing God over the temporary treasures, pleasures, and positions the world offers. Moses willingly gave up the privileges of Egypt because he valued God's calling and eternal reward more than earthly comfort. (Hebrews 11:24–29)

Five Important Takeaways

1. Choose God's calling over worldly position.

2. Reject temporary pleasures that compete with obedience.

3. Value God's approval more than people's approval.

4. Remain faithful through opposition and difficult circumstances.

5. Trust God's provision and the saving power of Jesus Christ.
