12-22-24 Did the birth of Jesus occur on December 25th?

In this lesson, we explore the question many have wondered about: Was Jesus really born on December 25th? While the Bible doesn’t give us an exact date, by looking closely at Scripture, history, and even the priestly service calendar from the time of Zechariah, we find strong reasons to believe that December 25th is a very plausible date for Christ’s birth. We follow the timing of Zechariah’s priestly service, then Elizabeth’s pregnancy, and then Mary’s pregnancy, and when we add the usual time a baby grows in the womb, it brings us right around December 25th. This study shows how history and Scripture come together to give us a meaningful way to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
