The Faith of a Mother

Motherhood reflects the heart of the gospel. In Mary, we see how God uses the humble and willing for His redemptive plan (Luke 1:38; Luke 1:46–55). Her surrender reminds us that faith rests not in ourselves but in God’s promise (Hebrews 11:11). Whether biological or spiritual, mothers play a powerful role in shaping lives through prayer, love, and godly influence (2 Timothy 1:5; Titus 2:3–5). In Scripture and even in the Hebrew word for mother, we see strength and life woven together—a picture of how God uses women to nurture faith across generations (Proverbs 31:26–28; Isaiah 66:13).
